Machine Embroidery
Drawing a design, digitizing it, and stitching it out. Somewhere between graphic design and textile craft.
Hand Embroidery
Slow, meditative stitching by hand, the analog counterpart to everything else I make.
Crochet
Wearables and little gifts, usually started the night before somebody’s birthday.
Sourdough
I became a sourdough aficionado this summer, mastering the art and the science of keeping a starter alive. Loaves, cinnamon rolls, English muffins, and whatever else the discard could become.
Painting
Painting for the pure pleasure of color and composition, with nothing due at the end of it.
Photos of all of this are coming, most of it currently lives in a drawer or on somebody else’s wrist.
